CHICAGO, Ill. – The Golden Eagles traveled to Chicago on Wednesday evening for a match with the Saint Xavier Cougars. The loss sets Cornerstone back to 0-1-1 on the season. They'll host Trinity Christian on Saturday afternoon in the home opener, in search of their first win of the season.
Game Flow
Saint Xavier's David Rebollar found the back of the net with a header just 20 minutes into the game. Rebollar later tacked on another goal to give the Cougars a comfortable 2-0 advantage. SXU held that lead for the remainder of the game.
