GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles finished off a perfect weekend with a pair of 4-set wins over IU-South Bend and Carroll College (Mont.) on Saturday at the annual Aquinas-Cornerstone Classic. The two victories help CU improve to 21-8 overall as they will begin the final stretch of the league season on Wednesday at Madonna University.

- Cornerstone won the first two sets in each of their matches before falling in the third and winning the fourth
- CU had a .212 hitting percentage in the win over IUSB and a .169 hitting percentage against CC
- Kendra Zwart finished the day with 33 kills and 15 blocks
- Kayla Clark posted 87 assists in the two wins
- Mackenzie Vallad led CU's defense with 47 digs in the two matches
