LIVONIA, Mich. – For the first time since 2003, the Cornerstone Volleyball is coming home with a win after visiting WHAC-rival Madonna as the Golden Eagles survived a big rally from the home team to post a 3-2 win. The 25-17, 25-22, 20-25, 10-25, 15-13 victory helps CU post the season sweep over Madonna and lifts them to 22-8 overall and 10-4 in league action. Cornerstone will remain on the road this weekend for matches at Rochester on Friday and Lawrence Tech on Saturday.

- Cornerstone took the opening two sets before falling in the next two
- The Golden Eagles raced out to a 9-5 lead in the fifth set and eventually led 13-9 before MU scored three straight to make it 13-12.
- The final kill came from sophomore Brooke Nicholson
- CU hit just .157 on the night as they had three players reach double-digit kills (Kendra Zwart – 14, Jackie Stanko (11) and Brooke Nicholson (10)
- Kayla Clark (43) and Mackenzie Vallad (27) were CU's leaders in assists and digs
- Cornerstone had nine aces in the match led by three each from Mackenzie Vallad and Kayla Sauers
