Men's soccer overpowered by #RV UNOH

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles welcomed the Racers from Northwestern Ohio to the CU Soccer Stadium on Saturday evening for a tough WHAC matchup. The Racers brought a seven-game winning streak into the match, including four WHAC matches. UNOH dominated the match and came out victorious by a score of 2-0. The loss sets Cornerstone back to 4-7-1 overall, 3-2 in the WHAC.  

How it happened

  • The Racers tallied 11 shots in the first half; Cornerstone had zero.

  • UNOH struck first just seven minutes into the second half.

  • After a couple CU scoring chances, UNOH sealed the game by taking a 2-0 lead in the 65th minute.
