GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles hit a season high 16 three-pointers on their way to a big 99-72 victory vs. Lourdes on Saturday afternoon. Freshman
Carter Nyp had a career day going 8-9 from the three-point line for a career high 26 points on the game. CU remains undefeated in conference play with a 10-3, 5-0 WHAC record as they get set to end the home stand vs. receiving votes Madonna on Wednesday night.

- The Golden Eagles would shoot lights out to start the game, going 9-15 from the field to get out to a 22-2 lead over Lourdes.
- The Gray Wolves would respond with a 14-4 run of their own to cut the deficit to nine and force CU into a timeout.
- Sam Vander Sluis, Riley Costen, and Carter Nyp all helped the Golden Eagles respond though and bring the lead up to 24 at the half, 55-31.
- Carter Nyp would hit five first half three's while Sam Vander Sluis put up 11 points and 12 rebounds.
- Cornerstone would increase their lead to a game high 39 points on a dunk by Kyle Hayes.
- The CU bench would then see action down the stretch as the Golden Eagles went on their way to a 99-72 win.
