ADRIAN, Mich. – In a race against the weather, Cornerstone played their second triple-header of the week this time at Siena Heights winning two of the three games to improve to 20-20, 11-16 WHAC. Cornerstone won 1-0 and 6-2 in the first two games of the day before falling just short 7-6 in the third and final game. Game 1 – Game one was yet another grind it out pitching duel, as neither team scored through the first six innings. Cornerstone starter

Trevor Bastien that scored
Aaron Krupansky to take a 1-0 lead. Starter
Zach Brog would hold the Saints scoreless through the first two innings to hold the 1-0 lead for the Golden Eagles. Brog would run into trouble in the bottom of the third though, as SHU scored two on an RBI single to take a 2-1 lead.

Aaron Krupansky that scored
Jon Stewart. Cornerstone would regain the lead at 5-2 in the top of the sixth, scoring three on an RBI single from

Brady Volmering scored on an RBI double from
Eric Bradberry. The Golden Eagles would add four more in the fifth, highlighted by a three RBI from
Aaron Krupansky to take a 5-0 lead.
The Saints offense would finally hit its stride responding with four runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth to cut the deficit to one run at 5-4. Cornerstone would go to the bullpen looking to hold the lead, but SHU would score three more in the sixth off
