MARION, Ind. – The Golden Eagles hit the road on Friday to take on the Wildcats from Indiana Wesleyan in their first road game of the season. Indiana Wesleyan grabbed the lead late in the first half then hung on for the 1-0 shutout victory. The loss sets Cornerstone back to 0-2 overall heading into Saturday's match at Calumet College of St. Joseph.
How it happened:
• The Wildcats attacked the net early, tallying three shots in the first eight minutes of play.
• Indiana Wesleyan put away the lone goal of the match off a set piece with nine minutes to go in the first half.
• Cornerstone only got one shot off in the first half.
• The Golden Eagles outshot the Wildcats 4-0 in the second half.

• Roberto Razo tallied a shot on goal in his collegiate debut.
• Cornerstone had four corner kicks, while Indiana Wesleyan had four.
• Second straight one-goal loss to start the season.
