FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Golden Eagles hit the road on Saturday for a matinee match at Indiana Tech. Both teams entered the match undefeated in WHAC play. The Warriors scored in the first half and held onto the lead for the second half for the shutout victory. The loss sets Cornerstone's record to 3-6-1 overall, 2-1 WHAC. The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday at Rochester before hosting UNOH on Saturday evening.

How it happened:

• The Warriors scored late in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into the break.

• Cornerstone had four corner kicks and three shots in the second half but couldn't even it up.

• Season-low four shots and two shots on goal recorded by the Golden Eagles.

What's Next?

The Golden Eagles will travel to Rochester on Wednesday afternoon before returning home to face Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.
