GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - With basketball season nearing, Cornerstone athletics is issuing new ticket policies that will be in effect for all indoor Cornerstone sporting events including the 2019-20 men's and women's basketball seasons. Admission prices remain the same with five dollars for general admission, and three dollars for seniors (65+) and non-CU students. However, there will be some small changes to the ticket line procedure and those changes are listed below.
- All Cornerstone students, staff, and faculty will still have free admission but will need to present a Cornerstone ID to the ticket clerk to get in.
- The only free entry will be Cornerstone students/employees, family on the pass list, Golden Eagle members, and incoming recruits.
- Non-CU students must also have a valid ID present to receive the discount at the student rate.
- If you are entering the Hansen Athletic Center during a game-time to use the facility for other reasons other than watching the game (such as using the weight room), you will still be required to go through the ticket line and present an ID.
- The doors directly to the right of the Hansen Center entrance will be locked during games to ensure guests go through the ticket line.
As part of the transition, there will be a two-week "grace" period to adjust to the procedural changes. Any further questions can be addressed by Assistant Athletic Director,
Courtney Carlson at courtney.carlson@cornerstone.edu.
