GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Rain, wind, and an explosive Lawrence Tech attack downed the Golden Eagles by a score of 4-2. The Blue Devils came out swinging, scoring all 4 of their goals in the first half. CU made it interesting late, but ultimately fell to 2-13-2 on the year with a 1-8-1 WHAC record. Cornerstone will be back in action for the final time this season on November 2

The Highlights
- Lawrence Tech jumped out to an early lead 4 minutes in, when Kevin Wright finished a deflected shot by Juan Jaramillo.
- The Blue Devils added two more goals in the 31st and 34th minutes before notching their fourth in the 42nd minutes.
- With 30 seconds remaining in the first half, Salvation Nkiko rose above the defense to head home a Christian Galloway corner kick giving CU a little life at 4-1.
- Cornerstone came out flying in the second half, creating multiple chances.
- The Golden Eagle pressure paid off in the 62nd minute, when a Lawrence Tech miscue left David Dwumfour Poku with a wide-open goal. The junior from Ghana tapped the shot home and brought Cornerstone within two goals.
- Both sides traded blows, but no goals were scored in the remaining 28 minutes, with Lawrence Tech leaving Grand Rapids 4-2 victors.
