GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles struggled offensively as fatigue hit in day two of back-to-back games for the Golden Eagles, losing at home 59-34 to Spring Arbor. With the loss, Cornerstone is now 1-3 overall as they have lost three straight non-conference games. CU will continue the tough schedule with a game at No. 15 Taylor on Friday at 3:30 p.m. for their fourth straight game vs. a Crossroads League opponent.

- Similar to yesterday, Cornerstone struggled to get on the board in the first quarter going nearly five minutes without a bucket before Rebekah Crosby hit a layup to make it 5-2.
- Cornerstone cut it to 7-6, but Spring Arbor went on a 7-0 run to end the first quarter to lead 14-6.
- In the second quarter, Katrina Goebel hit a big three to cut the deficit to 16-9.
- SAU increased the lead to a first half high 14 before Shelby Nyboer hit a pair of free throws to end the half and cut it t0 26-14 at the break.
- A three by Gracie Cabana in the third quarter gave Spring Arbor a 20-point lead with 4:20 to go in the period.
- Sterling DeGayner scored the first points for CU in the fourth quarter hitting a layup.
- The bench players got some time at the end of the game for Cornerstone as Kendall Krupiczewicz and Charity Ingleright found the scoreboard in the 59-34 loss.
