ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Cornerstone would pull away in the final five minutes of game action to defeat Concordia on the road and clinch a share of the WHAC regular season championship. The 76-57 victory gives head coach
Kim Elders and the Golden Eagles at least a share of the title for the third consecutive season. The Golden Eagles who are now 22-6, 15-3 WHAC have the chance to win the title outright on Wednesday at Lawrence Tech.

- Both teams would get off to a slow offensive start, combining for a total of 20 points in the first 6:30 of the game.
- After Concordia took their first lead of the game at 23-22, CU went on an 11-0 run highlighted by a Drew Knickerbocker three to go on top by 10.
- Sam Vander Sluis finished with 12 points and eight rebounds in the first half to lead 35-26 at the break.
- Cornerstone would increase the lead to 14 early in the first half thanks to the strong play of Gabe Meriwether, but Concordia would hang in, cutting the deficit back down to six.
- The post play of Sam Vander Sluis and a couple late three's by Christian Rodriguez would help CU win by their largest margin of 19 points.
