Cornerstone University hosting Jason Hanson Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone University will be hosting former Detroit Lions Kicker on Wednesday, April 10 for three separate speaking events. Hanson who still remains as the Lions all-time leading scorer has partnered with Cornerstone athletics and student development to talk on campus about the topic of competing for what matters.

The schedule for the day begins with an all-athlete chapel at 10 a.m. where Hanson will begin speaking on how his faith has impacted his professional career. Hanson will then do a special lunch talk with all Cornerstone athletics captains and coaches. In the evening, Hanson will host a free public talk inside Christ Chapel later that evening where he will again discuss what it means to compete for what matters. The public talk is open to anyone, including organizational members outside of Cornerstone University.
