SYLVANIA, Ohio – The Men's Soccer kicked off their season at Lourdes on Saturday night. After surrendering two goals in the first half and another in the second, the Golden Eagles fell by a score of 3-0. The team will continue their five-game fall schedule with a home contest against Concordia next Saturday afternoon.
The Highlights:
- Lourdes struck first just ten minutes into the contest with a through ball that led to a 1-on-1 goal.
- The Gray Wolves doubled their lead with another goal late in the first half.
- Cornerstone had one of four first-half corner kick opportunities with less than a minute to play in the first frame, but the chance came up empty.
- Lourdes added their third tally in the 71st minute to make it 3-0.
By the Numbers:
