GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –
Tyler Baker did all he could to spark a Golden Eagle come back with a season high 30 points, but it was not enough as Cornerstone drops their second straight game 85-78 vs. No. 22 Madonna. CU falls to 14-10, 8-7 WHAC on the year as they get set to travel to UNOH on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. game.

- Both offenses got off to a quick start as Madonna scored four in the first minute, while Christian Rodriguez and Tyler Baker each hit a three in the second minute to make it 6-4 in favor of CU.
- Madonna began to heat up from the three-point line hitting back-to-back threes to make it 12-8.
- After Cory Ainsworth scored four on answered to make the deficit just two, Madonna went on an 8-0 run to force Cornerstone into a timeout trailing 22-12.
- Out of the timeout, Tyler Baker hit his second three of game to make it 22-15.
- The offense slowed down for both sides in the middle of the first half, but Madonna got their stride back going on a 9-0 run to take their largest lead of the game so far at 16.
- Madonna continued to dominate offensively in the first half stunning the Golden Eagles, taking a 20-point lead 38-18.
- Tyler Baker hit another three and Cory Ainsworth a pair of free throws to cut it to 38-23 as Madonna called timeout.
- Cornerstone went on a 10-2 run to cut it to as low as 12 in the first half.
- Tyler Baker finished with a team high 13 in the first half on 4-6 shooting as Cornerstone trailed 49-35 at the break.
- Cory Ainsworth and Tyler Baker continued to play well offensively to start the second half, but for every CU run there was a Madonna response as it remained a 14-point game with 16 minutes to play.
- A pair of Crusader turnovers and quick layups from Tyler Baker and Christian Rodriguez cut it to 59-49 and forced MU into a timeout.
- Despite a pair of Christian Rodriguez threes, Cornerstone was unable to cut it any closer trailing 75-61 with 5:45 to play.
- The defensive pressure in the final three minutes helped Cornerstone make things interesting, cutting it to as low as four with 1:14 to play.
- Tyler Baker's career day continued with a huge and one three to make it just a three-point game with 1:02 to play.
- Dwight Burton put in the dagger for Madonna though with a three as the shot clock expired to down the Golden Eagles 85-78 at home for their second straight loss.
