WE GOT SUPER SENIORS TOO

Standings

After finishing third in the WHAC last season, the Golden Eagles have been selected to finish fifth in the 2020 WHAC Preseason Poll. CU earned 99 total votes based on their 8-3-0 conference record last season. Madonna and Siena Heights both have been ranked above the Golden Eagles despite CU winning both matches vs. those opponents last season. The sixth seeded team of Lawrence Tech forced Cornerstone out in an early exit in postseason play last year, taking the Golden Eagles down 2-1 in double overtime in the WHAC Quarterfinal.

GOAL SCORERS

VanTol
LaCroix

Cornerstone has two primary goal scorers returning looking to build off phenomenal seasons in 2019 as Jozlyn VanTol and Phoebe LaCroix combined for 12 goals last season. The Golden Eagles erupted for 44 total goals last season, their largest team total since 2007 as they averaged 2.32 goals per game.

KEY LOSSES

Alexys Riksen
Morgan

Riksen battled injury her entire career and chose to come back for a fifth year with eligibility left, and managed to record her best year yet with 13 goals and two assists for a team best 28 points. Morgan played just one season at CU and the defender with a dynamic left foot was able to tally six goals along with seven assists for a total of 19 points.
