GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Transfer Morgan Vargo has been in a Golden Eagle uniform since the beginning of January and is already making headlines for CU as she earned the WHAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award with an auto standard in the long jump and a provisional standard in the pole vault. Vargo moved to third in Cornerstone program history in the long jump with her mark of 5.67m which earned her an automatic standard. Later in the day she went over to Aquinas to compete in the pole vault where she tied her best mark with a jump of 3.42m. 

Vargo and the track & field program will be in action again this weekend for the WHAC Championships at Aquinas on Friday and Saturday with action beginning on Friday at 4 p.m.
