BUTTE, Mont. – Cornerstone not only battled two of the top 15 teams in the country on the first day of the 2022 season, but battled the west coast time zone with nearly a seven-hour gap between their two games. Despite a tough battle in both contests, CU would fall in both sides of today's season opening double-header at the Montana Tech Tournament, losing to the host (13) Diggers 3-0 before falling to (2) Jamestown 3-1. The Golden Eagles drop to 0-2 on the year but have a quick turnaround for a chance at redemption, as they close out the tournament vs. Rocky Mountain and Bushnell at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. EST.
