GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone got back in the win column with a nice victory over the University of Northwestern Ohio by a score of 90-69. It was closer game than what the final score says as Cornerstone pulled away in the final seven-minutes of the game.
Luke Rowlinson got off to a hot start that saw him score a quick 10 points for the Golden Eagles offense that was rounded out by
Carter Nyp and
Connor Dykema. The game was within three in the later minutes of the second half before Cornerstone went on a run that UNOH could not respond from as Luke Vanderweff was too much to handle in the paint.
Jack Joldersma got into the action late for his first minutes of the season coming off an injury. It was a win that was needed for Cornerstone before they head to Madonna on Wednesday, January 18.
