GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Wolverine Hooiser Athletic Conference (WHAC) just announced the Player of the Week Honors for the week of January 8, and two Golden Eagles earned the award. Luke Rowlinson earned his first men's basketball Player of the Week honors this season after averaging 21 points per-game, shooting 46% from behind the three point line. Rowlinson is the second men's basketball player to earn this award as they gear up to play against Lawrence Tech and UNOH later this week.

Sarah Genzink earned her first WHAC Runner of the Week honors this season after hitting a PR in the 400m of 58.36 that was also a national qualifying run! Genzink is the second women's track and field athlete to earn this award for Cornerstone. Track and Field is right back in action this weekend at the GVSU Mink Lints Alumni Meet.
