Grand Rapids, Mich. – Men's Basketball (2-3) opened WHAC play with a 75-62 win over Siena Heights.
Levi Schultz recorded a double double, leading the Golden Eagles in points with 19 and rebounds with 12. Cornerstone shot 46% from the field while going 6-20 beyond the arc. Men's Basketball continues conference play as they travel to Sylvania, Ohio to take on Lourdes at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

First Half
- The Golden Eagles opened the game with Andy Mora wide open, sinking his shot from beyond the arc to give CU an early lead.
- Levi Schultz followed that with a dunk off a SHU turnover to make it 5-0 CU.
- A goof jumper from Blake Stewart and a three from Levi Schultz gave Cornerstone a 10-7 lead.
- Mark DeVries finishes his layup and sinks a free throw extending the Golden Eagles lead to six midway through the first half.
- Kayden Bird found his groove drilling back-to-back threes which would then be followed by two layups from Joel Nichols as the Golden Eagles went on a 10-0 run.
- With 6:20 left in the half, Levi Schultz sank his second three of the game.
- CU continued to extend their lead as Levi Schultz and Mark DeVries finished layups to take a 39-23 lead.
- The Golden Eagles close out the first half with a layup by Levi Schultz to give CU a 45-27 lead going into halftime.
Second Half
- Just over a minute into the second half, Andy Mora drains a three extending the Cornerstone lead to 17.
- Joel Nichols found a driving Andy Mora who finishes his layup through traffic.
- Blake Stewart made both free throws and Andy Mora finished another layup to make it a 56-41 game in favor of CU.
- Back-to-back made layups by Blake Stewart put Cornerstone up 61-43.
- Trenton Boike drained a floater which grew the Golden Eagles lead to 67-50.
- Kayden Bird sunk two free throws to put CU up 72-56 with 3:44.
- Cornerstone extended their lead to 17 as Blake Stewart finished his layup in transition.
