Rochester Hills, Mich. – Men's Basketball (3-7) traveled to Rochester Hills where they lost 75-63 to the #RV Warriors of Rochester Christian.
Blake Stewart scored 15 points while
Levi Schultz led Cornerstone with nine rebounds and scoring 12 points. The Golden Eagles have one last matchup before the Holidays as they travel to Southfield, Michigan to face Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, December 17th at 7:30 p.m.

First Half
- Blake Stewart got the scoring started getting two layups to fall which gave CU a 4-2 lead.
- Joel Nichols and Levi Schultz finished back-to-back layups to give Cornerstone a six-point lead early in the game.
- The Golden Eagles fought to maintain their lead as Blake Stewart added another pair of layups to put CU up 12-7.
- RCU battled back into the game but a jumper from Kayden Bird kept Cornerstone up by one.
- The Warriors went on a run and took a ten-point lead over the Golden Eagles with four minutes left to play in the first half.
- Levi Schultz and Mark DeVries made layups at the end of the half but Cornerstone trailed 36-26 going into halftime.
Second Half
- Andy Mora nailed a three pointer to start the second half for the Golden Eagles to get CU within 11.
- Rochester Christian took a 19-point lead in the first five minutes of the second half before Trenton Boike drained a three pointer to cut into the Warriors lead.
- A three from Kayden Bird and a dunk by Levi Schultz continued Cornerstone's effort to get back into the game, making it a 50-37 advantage in favor of RCU.
- Cornerstone got within 10 midway through the second half as Andy Mora grabbed a defensive rebound and finished a layup at the other end.
- Rochester Christian got off on a run to take a 20-point lead over the Golden Eagles.
- Tre Seydel sunk a three-pointer with under three minutes left which made it 73-53 game.
- In the final minute Tre Seydel nailed back-to-back threes, but Cornerstone fell to the Warriors 75-63.
