Blake Stewart led Cornerstone with 23 points followed by
Kayden Bird who scored 14. The Golden Eagles return home after the holidays as they face off against Bethel University on Monday, December 29th at 3 p.m.

First Half
- Levi Schultz got the scoring started getting a layup to fall but IU-South Bend answered by going on a 14-point run to take a 14-2 lead early.
- Cornerstone finally answered back with Kayden Bird finishing a layup through a foul and sinking his and one opportunity.
- Trenton Boike moved CU back within single digits draining a shot from beyond arc.
- A layup from Joel Nichols and a three from Tre Seydel made it a 29-19 game in favor of IU-South Bend.
- Back-to-back layups from Blake Stewart put CU within 12 midway through the first half.
- Kayden Bird drains a three with six minutes left in the half to get Cornerstone back within nine.
- Mark DeVries got a layup to fall which put the Golden Eagles within seven.
- Blake Stewart closed out the first half finishing a layup through traffic and made his and one shot to make it a 47-39 game in favor of South Bend going into halftime.
Second Half
- Cornerstone kept the game close to open the second half as Blake Stewart made back-to-back jumpers.
- Tre Seydel knocked down another three which kept CU within nine.
- IU-South Bend once again took a double-digit lead, but layups from Levi Schultz and Mark DeVries keep it at 13-point deficit.
- The Golden Eagles struggled to keep up with South Bend, however a three from Kayden Bird kept them within 15.
- Blake Stewart continued to power the offense for CU making back-to-back layups which made it an 82-64 game.
- Maddux Everingham knocks drains a three with an assist from his brother Myles Everingham, but Cornerstone dropped their fifth straight losing 89-75.
