ALLENDALE, Mich. – Track and Field competed at Grand Valley and Michigan and came away with a very successful weekend. The 4x400m relay squad of
Sarah Genzink,
Madison Haid,
Hallie Kooyer, and
Ronnie McMillan improved their time and broke the school record with a time of 3:50.37. Other highlights from the day were an NAIA B Standard run in the 600m from
Ronnie McMillan, an NAIA B Standard throw in the weight throw by
Claire Meacham, and an NAIA B Standard run in the men's DMR by
Andrew Adams,
Isaiah Jacobs,
Parker Matheny, and
Elijah Wallace.
It is the final week of preparation for men's and women's track and field as they will compete in the WHAC Championship this weekend at Indiana Tech February 14-15 for one last chance of qualifying for the NAIA National Championship.
