Grand Rapids, Mich. – Women's Volleyball returned home for a match against Indiana Tech. The ladies came out of the gates hot taking the first two sets. The Warriors managed to steal the third set making the ladies earn it in the fourth. Cornerstone did just that with a dominant finish to secure the 3-1 victory inside Mol Arena. The lady's turnaround quickly as they host a match on Saturday, September 20 against UNOH at 2:00 p.m.

First Set: Cornerstone – 25 Indiana Tech – 22
- The match started fast for the Warriors as they collected the first three points of the set.
- Gabby VerBerkmoes came to life fast in this set with back-to-back kills to get Cornerstone back on level terms with Indiana Tech.
- Cornerstone suffered a poor run in which they decided to use a timeout, but this sparked the offense as they collected nine straight points which boosted them into a 15-11 lead.
- The Golden Eagles capitalized on errors down the stretch to take the first set.
Second Set: Cornerstone – 25 Indiana Tech – 17
- The Aubrey Johnson show got back into action to kick off the second set with multiple kills as Cornerstone held a 5-1 advantage.
- The Golden Eagles had everyone on their feet with dominant swings from everyone on the court as they led 12-3.
- Gabby VerBerkmoes continued to build off her strong first set with a few kills down the stretch to extend Cornerstone to a 2-0 match lead.
Third Set: Cornerstone – 25 Indiana Tech – 27
- The third set was back and forth, but Cornerstone forced the Warriors to think things over with them holding a narrow lead.
- Indiana Tech them exploded with kills as they jumped out to a dominant lead in the set.
- Cornerstone managed to fight back and tie the match at 25-25 but ultimately fell as the match was now 2-1 still in favor of the Golden Eagles.
Fourth Set: Cornerstone – 25 Indiana Tech – 16
- Olivia Endris found success off her serves to begin the fourth set as Cornerstone jumped out to a 7-0 lead.
- The Golden Eagles continued to push forward as Ally Kragt got herself some strong swings.
- Cornerstone closed out this commanding fourth set and took the match 3-1.

.167 – Cornerstone hit at a .167 rate on the match which surpassed the Warriors .056.
90 – The Golden Eagles excelled on the defensive side with 90 digs in the match.
