Kayden Bird returned to form scoring 20 points. Cornerstone travels to Fort Wayne, Ind. to take on #9 Indiana Tech on Saturday, January 10th with tipoff set for 3 p.m.

First Half
- The Goldens started the game strong taking an 8-2 lead with Blake Stewart getting two buckets to begin the charge.
- Kayden Bird started to heat up finishing a layup and sunk his and one opportunity to make it a 13-10 game in favor of CU.
- Blake Stewart connects on back-to-back jumpers to keep Cornerstone ahead with 13:32 left to play in the first half.
- A three from Colin Heyboer extended the Golden Eagles lead to eight, but a surge from the Wolverines brought the game within three.
- With 6:22 left to play UMD tied the game at 31.
- Cornerstone regained the lead as Kayden Bird nailed a three and then added another three-point play to put CU up by seven.
- Levi Schultz closed out the first half with a layup sending the teams to the locker rooms with the Golden Eagles up 50-45.
Second Half
- Cornerstone started the second half off similar to how the first half ended as Levi Schultz drains a jumper to extend CU's lead.
- Mark DeVries and Andy Mora got shots to fall to give the Golden Eagles a double-digit lead.
- Despite UMD getting back within four, Blake Stewart drains a three to keep the Wolverines at bay.
- Colin Heyboer capitalized on two free throw opportunities to make it a 68-64 game for Cornerstone.
- Tre Seydel extends the CU lead knocking down a three paired with a jumper midway through the second half.
- Two free throws from Mark DeVries and a tip-in from Blake Stewart kept CU up eight.
- With two minutes left to play Blake Stewart hit a jumper to put the Golden Eagles ahead 86-82.
- CU closed out the game with a layup from Tre Seydel to secure a 94-84 win over the Wolverines.
