Grand Rapids, Mich. – Cornerstone Competitive Cheer finished out their competitive season at the WHAC Cheer Tournament this past weekend, hosted by Aquinas College. The Golden Eagles eagerly awaited the start to their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament appearance in program history and did not disappoint.
Cornerstone finished the competition in fourth place overall, just behind that of Siena Heights University and just above Aquinas College. The Golden Eagles began the day with their preliminary routine, which netted them 75.4 points in the opening round. They followed it up in the finals with an even better score of 77.2 to give them a final combined score of 76.75.

Madonna University would take home the WHAC title for the first time in their program's history, and the Golden Eagles will look forward to next season as they have completed the 2025-26 season with this final WHAC competition.
