Ryan Shinabery Becomes the 13th National Champion to Highlight Day One of the NAIA Outdoor National Championship

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Track and Field completed day one of the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championship with a National Champion and two All-Americans. Ryan Shinabery took first in the hammer throw with a throw of 60.43m to become a National Champion and All-American. Bradley Richards took third place in the high jump with a height of 2.06m earning him All-American. The Golden Eagles will continue the Outdoor National Championships with day two of action. Nationals will continue on May 21, 2026 in Asheville, North Carolina at the Karl Straus Track.

What's Next?
Track and Field continue the Outdoor National Championships with day two of action. Nationals will continue on May 21, 2026 in Asheville, North Carolina at the Karl Straus Track.
