Coach Kim Elders became the head coach of the men’s basketball program in 1993.  He guided the Golden Eagles to 3 NAIA Division II National Championships in 1999, 2011, and 2015.  He was named NAIA Coach of the Year twice and WHAC Coach of the Year six times during his tenure.  His teams won 8 regular season WHAC titles and 9 tournament titles.   He was also voted NBCA and BCAM Coach of the Year in 1999.  He was honored as the NCCAA Coach of the Year in 1996.
