GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Pitching dominated on another cold windy day, as Cornerstone fell to Olivet Nazarene 3-1 in the second and final game of the fall season. The Golden Eagles allowed eight hits in the seven-inning contest, but failed to get the bats going as both pitchers moved quickly through the opposing lineups. Cornerstone closes out the fall portion of their regular season at 0-2.
Game Flow…
The Tigers scored a run in both the second and third inning getting them off to another early lead, and that was all they needed after a complete game by their starter Madison Foster.

(four innings pitched) but the only run that the Golden Eagles could plate was an RBI single by Nick Lagusis (JR/Scottsdale, Ariz.) that scored his freshman counterpart Aaron Krupansky (FR/Hartland, Mich.).
ONU added a security run in the seventh and final inning to seal a 3-1 victory.
