GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The regular season will come to an end for Cornerstone with a single match week that will take place down the road at rival Aquinas. The Golden Eagles will play the Saints on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and the match will be broadcasted on the AQ Sports Network, as CU looks to guarantee a bid in the conference tournament.

The Golden Eagles posted a 1-1 record last week. The week started with a 3-0 win over Lourdes in the final home match of the year, where

Maddie Tassoni scored the goals for CU. Cornerstone then traveled to No. 8 Northwestern Ohio and fell 5-0 making the Golden Eagle record vs. ranked opponents 0-2 on the year.
Scouting Aquinas
The Saints currently sit in sixth place in the WHAC with a 8-5-3, 4-3-1 record on the year. AQ has had an excellent defensive year recording seven shutouts this season. Kylie Robb has started in net for Aquinas in 11 of the 16 matches, and recorded the best save percentage at .761 for a 5-3-0 record. The offense for the Saints has scored 31 goals, 23 of those being assisted, with midfielder Anya Pallas leading the way with a team high eight goals. AQ has won two of their last three matches, most recently defeating IIT 2-1.
200 WHAC Appearances
Since beginning the program in 1997, CU has competed in 200 WHAC regular season matches. The Golden Eagles sit just above .500 in those matches with a 99-83-18 record vs. the conference putting them one away from 100 career WHAC wins. Head Coach

WHAC Tournament Outlook
The WHAC Tournament is nearly set in stone as CU has just one match remaining while the rest of the conference has two yet to play. As of now, Cornerstone sits in the eighth and final conference tournament position at 3-6. Indiana Tech sits in ninth with a 2-6 WHAC record, but has Madonna and undefeated conference leader Davenport yet to play.
