HU went their first three games without a goal until Olivia Knispel found the net for the first time this season vs. Marygrove last week. Scouting Trinity Christian
Trinity Christian College currently holds a 3-1-0 record on the year winning the last three games after losing the season opener. The Trolls have a high-powered offense as they have already scored a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference high 11 goals through four games. Senior Kayla Diemer is one of the best forwards in the nation as she is 17th in the NAIA in total points with 11, and second in the NAIA in shots per game averaging five.

History vs. This Week's Opponents
The Golden Eagles have a long history with Huntington as they have matched up every year in Cornerstone women's soccer history. CU is 13-2-0 all-time against HU and has won nine of the last 10 games. CU has a much shorter history vs. the Trolls as they are 2-2-1 all-time against Trinity Christian. The last appearance against TCC came in 2008 where the Golden Eagles lost by a score of 1-0.

Gensler's Big Outing
Junior Kelsey Gensler had an outstanding outing in the season's first victory over Saint Francis, recording the game winning goal and an assist in the match. The goal by Gensler is just the third of her career and first since September 13, 2014. Gensler currently is the team leader in points with three in the early season.

Homestand Continues
Cornerstone continues the season's longest six game homestand this week with games three and four vs. Huntington University and Trinity Christian College. The six game homestand is the longest in Golden Eagle history to open a season, and it is the second longest home stretch of all-time behind seven straight home games that occurred at the end of the 2006 CU season.

Last Week Recap
The Golden Eagles opened the 2016 campaign last week with a 1-0-1 record. CU started the year with a match against Saint Xavier where they put up 26 shots, but could not find the back of the net resulting in a 0-0 tie. CU then took on Saint Francis (Ill.) where the offense irrupted for three goals earning the season's first victory 3-2 over the Saints.
