Scouting Lourdes
The Gray Wolves are in just their third year of having a women's soccer program, and they are beginning to improve, as they sit at 5-6-2, 1-4-1 WHAC on the year. Lourdes has improved defensively, as they rank 31st in the NAIA in total saves this season with 97. Keeper Kerstyn Williams has accounted for 52 of those saves, while Kiley Transit has tallied 43. Both goalies have split time equally in net this season. Offensively, LU has scored 21 goals this season on 18 assists. Remy Houttekier is the leading scorer for the Gray Wolves with six this season, while Clare Ciarlino is first in assists with four.

Scouting Northwestern Ohio
The defending national champion UNOH Racers have continued their historic run with a 12-1-1, 7-0-0 WHAC record in 2017. The Racers rank third in the NAIA, with their only loss came 1-0 to Spring Arbor in a rematch of last year's national championship game. The UNOH roster consists of 21 players, with 19 of those players being international. Overall Northwestern Ohio is so fundamentally sound, as they rank top ten in the nation in total assists (46) and total shutouts (9). Keeper Romane Salvador ranks fifth in the nation in goals against per game, averaging just 0.35 goals against in 13 starts this season. Offensively, UNOH has a duo of players with 15 goals this season in Evdokia Popadinova and Camilla Andersen. The Bulgarian Popadinova also has tallied 10 assists this season to lead the team with an astounding 40 points. Fifth year head coach Stuart Gore, who reigns from Great Britain, has led the team to three consecutive WHAC Championships along with two national championship appearances in the last three years, going 1-1 in those games.

Injury Bug
The Golden Eagles have fought through a bit of an injury bug, as both Alyssa Dykstra and Meredith Haddad suffered injuries against Indiana Tech. Dykstra was unable to play vs. Siena Heights with an ankle injury, while Meredith Haddad played limited minutes with a lower leg injury. Both girls have been key starters on the defensive end for Cornerstone this season.

Road Record
Cornerstone has gone 2-3-1 on the road this season, with just one road game remaining in the regular season. CU has struggled on the road each of the past two seasons, as in 2016 they went 0-6-0 when away from their home turf. Prior to the 2016 season, the Golden Eagles had been relatively dominant in road action under head coach Randy Strawser. From 2000-2015, CU had just five seasons where they were under .500 on the road, with three of those coming in Randy Strawser's first three years as head coach.
