GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After nearly two weeks away from action, the Cornerstone Softball team is set to resume its season this weekend with a pair of WHAC home doubleheaders, starting with Indiana Tech on Friday at 2 p.m. before taking on Northwestern Ohio on Saturday at 1 p.m. Friday's games will have both live video and live stats available, while Saturday's action will only have live stats.

Cornerstone Notes
- In their last action on March 13, the Golden Eagles suffered a 12-2 mercy loss in game one to Saint Francis before taking an 11-6 victory in game two.
- The 11-6 victory in game two came off the back of a nine-run sixth inning. Nine runs in an inning is the most for Cornerstone since plating nine in the second inning against Bellevue on March 4, 2014.
- At 7-3, the team is off to the program's best 10-game start since 2015, when the Golden Eagles also opened the campaign 7-3.
- Sierra Sanchez recorded two RBI in each game against Saint Francis on March 13, giving her a total of four multi-RBI games this season.
- Kaitlin Johnson, Alessa Baldwin-Buchner, and McKenzie Butgereit share the team lead with 11 hits apiece. Sierra Sanchez leads the team in the runs and RBI columns, with 12 of each.
- In the circle, Mikayla Meade and Kaitlin Johnson are sharing the majority of the workload. Meade has a 5.25 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP in 24 innings of work while Johnson has a 5.56 ERA and a 1.99 WHIP in 22.2 innings of work. Ashley Loera leads the team with a 3.50 ERA in 10 innings of relief pitching.

- The Warriors have started the season with an even 8-8 record, but six of those losses have come against teams ranked within the Top 25 NAIA poll.

- Grace Jackson leads the team offensively with a .386 batting average along with a .561 slugging percentage.
