Scouting Olivet Nazarene
The Tigers have gotten off to a slow start in 2021 with an 0-3-1 record. ONU has been historically very good over the last few seasons, going 7-4-1 in the shortened COVID-19 season and 17-3-1 in 2019 winning the CCAC. Bill Bahr is the Head Coach at Olivet Nazarene and is one of the few to record more wins than CU Head Coach
Randy Strawser, going 292-148-32 all-time in his 23-year career. In 2021, ONU has just not found their stride offensively, scoring two goals in four games. Defensively, the Tigers have been relatively strong just giving up eight goals. Keepers Samantha Tuuk and Tessa Kowalski have split time in net and have recorded almost identical statistics, each giving up four goals with a save percentage above .700.
Non-Conference Record
Cornerstone has been dominant in non-conference games over the last five seasons, going 15-5-2 since 2017. With 2020 being only conference games, CU has not played a non-conference schedule since 2019 where they went 6-1 in those games. The only loss in 2019 in the non-conference regular season came at home against NCAA DIII Calvin University by the score of 2-0.
