Patsy Morris makes it four times this season that she has earned the WHAC Defender of the Week, doing so with a 25 dig performance in the final regular season game vs. UM-Dearborn. She helped CU defeat the Wolverines in four sets to become the second team in conference history to go a perfect 20-0 in WHAC play, joining the 2019 Lawrence Tech team as the only other to do so. On the season, Morris has 692 digs. She averages nearly six per set on the year and ranks second all-time in Golden Eagle program history for career digs with 2,513 in her four year career.
Cornerstone begins playoff volleyball hosting the eight seed Concordia on Wednesday at 7 p.m. A victory, would give them the opportunity to host the semifinals and finals of the WHAC Tournament over the weekend, where all four teams would come to West Michigan to compete inside Mol Arena. The first semifinal would take place at 5 p.m. on Friday with Cornerstone's semifinal match to follow at 7:30 p.m. An awards ceremony for All-Conference honors would take place in-between games. The WHAC Tournament Championship will be on Saturday, November 12 at 1 p.m.
