ALLENDALE/GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It was another successful day for the men's and women's track & field team that saw three more national qualifiers between the two meets.
Luke Pohl highlighted the men's side of things running a 14:21:68 5000m that put him second in the nation with that time.
Anna Martin,
Morgan Vargo, and Jenna Brueker all highlighted the women's side of things as they all had great days with new PRs. Martin almost set a new school record in the 3000m with a PR of 9:54:68. Track & Field will be right back in action tomorrow Saturday, February 11 to wrap up the GVSU Big Meet starting at 10 a.m.

Men's Results:
The 5000m got things started at GVSU as
Peyton Tipton set a new PR with a 15:47 time and
Jamin Thompson set an indoor PR of 15:40:14 to get things rolling for the day.
Patrick Adams, 11 days removed from a small heart procedure, beats his own Freshman 60m Hurdle record with a new PR of 8.44.
Luke Pohl continued to show out with a 14:21:68 5000m run that qualified him with a NAIA "A" Standard run which put him 2
nd in the nation.
Women's Results:
Anna Martin just missed out for holding the school record in indoor track all-time list as she ran a PR of 9:54:68 in the 3000m. Continuing her success for the season.

Men's Results:
Ryan Shinabery improved on his freshman record in the weight throw as he set a new PR of 15.96m.
Brad Holbrook finished in second on the day in high jump with a jump of 1.91m.
Women's Results:
Three girls broke the top 10 in the indoor 60m as
Morgan Vargo ran a 7.91 to move her straight into second place while
Chelsee Martino and
Halle Schnyders both PR as they ran an 8.06 which moves them tied for seventh on the all-time indoor track list.
Morgan Vargo continued her successful day at Aquinas with a long jump PR of 5.74 that leapfrogs her way to second on the all-time indoor list.
Katelynn Dix improved in her 60m hurdle race where she ran a new PR of 9.49 that saw her move into the top 10 in the indoor all-time list. She also ran a 7.96 in the 60m that moved her into the top 10 all-time list.
What's Next?
Cornerstone will be right back in action tomorrow morning to wrap up the GVSU Big Meet starting at 10 a.m.
