Jolie Groeneveld ends her career earning Second Team All-Conference honors while the duo of
Anna Griffioen and
Mackenzie Nagelhout earn WHAC All-Defensive team with coach
Kelsey Kooistra earning Champion of Character Coach for the second time in her career.
Moriah Sprague – Junior – First Team All-Conference
For the second straight year,
Moriah Sprague has earned First Team All-Conference honors for her stellar year at the plate. Sprague leads the team in multiple categories, hitting a team best .416, with an OPS of 1.139, and slugging percentage of .688. She also leads the team in homeruns with six, doubles with 12, RBIs with 28, and stolen bases with 16.
Jolie Groeneveld – Senior – Second Team All-Conference
Jolie Groeneveld earned her second career All-Conference honor, this one being a Second Team nomination. Groeneveld finished the regular season with a .361 batting average, 11 doubles, three triples, and 22 RBIs. She also stole 14 bases on her way to an OPS of .871, all which is second best on the team.
Anna Griffioen/Mackenzie Nagelhout - All-Defensive Team
Freshman
Anna Griffioen was named to the All-Defensive Team for her work in the field this year. Griffioen has a fielding percentage of .992, recording just one error on the year on 61 putouts and 121 catches being the primary second baseman.
Mackenzie Nagelhout joins her teammate on the All-Defensive Team with a fielding percentage of .972, recording just two errors in center field while having 67 putouts on 72 catches.
Kelsey Kooistra – Champion of Character Coach
For the second time in her career, Head Coach
Kelsey Kooistra has earned WHAC Champion of Character coach, which was voted on by the WHAC coaches for her display that best represents the five NAIA core character traits of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership, and sportsmanship.
McKenna Gilde – Junior - Champion of Character
Junior
McKenna Gilde has been selected as the 2024 Cornerstone representative to the WHAC Champions of Character Team. Gilde was selected by Head Coach
Kelsey Kooistra for her display of the five NAIA core character traits of: Respect, Responsibility, Servant Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Integrity.
WHAC All-Academic
Cornerstone sees 15 athletes earn WHAC All-Academic honors in 2024 for being a sophomore or above in academic class standing and maintaining a 3.25 GPA or higher. The 2024 winners are:
