Track and Field sees nine WHAC Champions at the WHAC Championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the WHAC Championship over the weekend at Indiana Tech and came away with a very successful championship. The men's team placed third while the women's placed second while seeing nine WHAC Champions. They also had 26 PRs on the tournament as the Golden Eagles look to be in great shape heading into the NAIA National Tournament.

First Team All-Conference:
Men – Elijah Wallace (600m), Chase Holwerda (4x800m), Peyton Tipton (4x800m), Spencer VanderZwaag (4x800m), Grayson VerBerkmoes (4x800m), Stuart Stovall (Weight Throw)
 
Women – Payton Hosley (800m), Emma Moore (3000m & 5000m)
 
Second Team All-Conference:

WHAC Champion of Character
The WHAC Champions of Character award is given to one player from each team and is selected by each coaching staff. Patrick Adams and Katelynn Dix was selected as Cornerstone's representative to the WHAC Champions of Character team by the CU staff for best representing the five NAIA core character traits of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
 
WHAC All-Academic Team
Track and Field saw multiples athletes earn WHAC All-Academic honors for the 2025 season. This award is given to any athlete who has been on the roster for a year or more as well as a sophomore and above in academic class standing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
