GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Women's Basketball and Track and Field is excited to announce the signing of Kaila Aston to the Freshman class of 2025-26. Kaila comes to Cornerstone from Gilbert Christian High School from Gilbert, Arizona as a 5'11" basketball power forward and a throws athletes for track. Coach Jessica Yonkers and Coach Andy Wright are eager to get her on campus this fall. 

Kaila Aston is the daughter of Ian and Kim Aston and plans to study Missions Aviation in her time at Cornerstone University. Aston was a 3A Conference Honorable Mention All-Region athlete in basketball as well as 3A State Shot Put 12th place finisher and 3A State Discus 8th place finisher in track.
