Records Continue to be Broken for Track and Field

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The two day event for the Track and Field Team completed and saw more records broken and multiple PRs and season bests. The team saw their way to 21 PR's as well as a new record in the Hammer Throw, two B Standards, and two school records broken.

Stuart Zachariah Stovall highlighted the meet with a monster throw in the Hammer Throw event. His mark of 63.07m in the Hammer Throw bested his previous mark and kept him sat atop the NAIA in the event, along with breaking the previous school record. Isaac Bowden moved to eighth in the NAIA in the Pole Vault, as his jump of 4.82m marked a B Standard. Bradley Richards marked a B Standard in the High Jump, with a jump of 2.06m. This jump brings him to 4th in the country in the NAIA and marks the second highest high high jump by a Cornerstone male athlete. Kendra Postema broke the school record in the 100M with a time of 12.09, marking a new personal record as well as the 39th best time in the NAIA.

Track and Field move forward in the outdoor season with a single-day meet at Calvin University. The Calvin Invite will take place on April 18, in Grand Rapids, Mich.
