GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone's Men's and Women's Track & Field teams competed in the Calvin University Knight Invitational on Saturday the 18th of April. The team saw 29 Personal Records as well as a new NAIA 1st in the Hammer Throw, two A-Standards, and a B-Standard in the Hammer Throw.
Stuart Zachariah Stovall broke his previous NAIA First record in the Hammer Throw with a new A-Standard mark of 63.94m, winning the event. While Cecily Fager broke the outdoor school record in the Pole Vault with a vault of 4.00m. This mark puts Fager at Second in the NAIA in the event, an A-Standard and Personal Record! Alexander Pranger did not disappoint with his own Hammer Throw attempts, as he marked a B-Standard with a throw of 57.27m, the new 9th in the NAIA. Katelynn Dix won the 100M Hurdles event with a new personal record of 14.40, as she remained fifth on the CU All-Time list in the event.
