Strong Shooting lifts Women’s Hoops to 68-52 win

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Golden Eagles picked up their fourth straight win overall as they used a strong shooting night to defeat the host Seahawks of Northwood 68-52. The Classic in West Palm Beach will feature one more contest for the Golden Eagles as they will look for their tenth win on Wednesday when they take on NCAA DII Barry University (Fla.) at Noon EST.



Game Flow
The Golden Eagles led from start to finish on Monday afternoon against the home team as they scored the game's first 15 points as all five starters recorded points during the run. The 15-point edge before NU scored at the 12:34 mark was the largest of the half for CU.

Cornerstone then opened the second half on a 21-5 run to lead by as many as 29 on a layup from freshman Taryn Sack (FR/Grand Rapids, Mich.). The two teams would then play the remaining nine minutes pretty evenly with NU posting a late charge to get the margin under 20.
