LIVONIA, Mich.. – The Golden Eagles made the short trip over to Madonna to complete the double header that was suspended from Friday.  Madonna came away with a 10-3 win to complete WHAC regular season play.  Cornerstone finished seventh overall and advance to the WHAC tournament next week.

Game Flow  – Madonna played as the visitor since it was originally Cornerstone's home game.  The Crusaders put up six runs in the top of the third inning and another run in the top of the fourth to take a 7-0 lead.  Cornerstone got an unearned run in the bottom of the fourth to make it 7-1.  Madonna scored two more runs in the top of the sixth and one in the seventh.  The Golden Eagles got RBI's from Rachel Bode and Delani Disher in the sixth and seventh innings to finish the game with a 10-3 loss.

What's Next?

Cornerstone will open WHAC Tournament play next Wednesday, May 4^th at 6:00 p.m.  The enter the tournament as the #7 seed and will face #2 seed Madonna.
