Box Score 2 ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Golden Eagles played another conference doubleheader against UM-Dearborn on Wednesday. They were able to put the bat on the ball and get runners on base, but fell short, leaving nine runners on base in both games. The pair of losses drops them back to 7-19, 2-8 in the WHAC. They'll return to action on Thursday for their third doubleheader in three days as they travel to Cleary University.
 
Game Flow
 
Game 1 – Cornerstone's lone run of the game came in the second inning when 
Jessica Wright hit an RBI single back up the middle, scoring 
Rachel Younts. The team combined for eight hits, compared to Dearborn's 12. Younts and 
Mackenzie Vallad both finished with two hits. Vallad and 
Lexi Lieske both recorded a double.
 
Game 2 – 
Annie Fila led off the third inning with a single. She went on to score off the bat of 
Rachel Younts. Fila finished with two of the team's seven hits. Cornerstone trailed 2-1 before Dearborn tacked on three more runs in the sixth inning.

What's Next
