Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Jessica Wright picked up her second home run of the season as the junior catcher led the Golden Eagles to a 6-5 road win at Indiana Tech on Thursday afternoon. Game 2 was called due to weather and will be made up Saturday in Grand Rapids after the conclusion of the CU-UNOH series. Cornerstone will return to action on Friday when they host Lawrence Tech at 3:30 p.m. in a WHAC doubleheader.
 
 
Game 1 – The Warriors took the lead in the bottom of the first inning but that would be short lived as the Golden Eagles put up four in the second, highlighted by a 3-run homer off the bat of Jessica Wright. The shot scored Caitlyn Hartline and Moriah Wilke.
 
CU added two more runs in the third inning when Wright picked up her fourth RBI of the game and Alicia Ontiveros singled home Chelsey Kriger to put the visitors up 6-1.
 
Indiana Tech slowly chipped away at the lead on CU starter Brooke Leonard but the Golden Eagles held off their rally as they picked up the 6-5 win.
 
 
Game 2 – Game 2 was rained out and will now be made up Saturday at CU after the Golden Eagles finish their DH with UNOH.
