GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles are ready to leave the snow and cold and head to the sunshine state to compete in the 2019 Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational, where the team will 13 games over a week span. CU will begin game action on March 1 with a single nine inning game against Trinity Baptist College and conclude play on March 9 with a double-header against Robert Morris (Ill.) with off days on March 3 and March 7. Of the 13 games played, Cornerstone will play two against an NCCAA school, one against an NAIA Crossroads League school, and 10 against NAIA CCAC schools. Cornerstone Baseball Quick Facts:
- Cornerstone started their season with four games against Taylor, and went 0-4 in those matchups. 
- The Golden Eagles will be playing one NCCAA school, four CCAC schools, and one Crossroads League school while down in Florida.
