GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles will continue conference play with six more WHAC games this week. CU will host cross-town rival Aquinas on Wednesday in search of their first home victory of the season before traveling to Lourdes on Friday then Siena Heights on Saturday. Cornerstone sits at 7-17 overall, 1-5 in the WHAC heading into this week's six crucial conference competitions. Times and coverage for the games are as follows:

Scouting Aquinas (18-12, 1-1 WHAC)

• The Saints finished the 2018 season with a 40-16 overall record.
• Brad Koch was named WHAC Coach of the Year in 2018
• Briana Mairose leads the team with 30 RBI to go along with a .340 batting average. Mairose was named WHAC Player of the Year in 2018 and was the lone WHAC representative in NAIA honors (honorable mention).
• Marisa Loya pitched a no-hitter against Cornerstone in game one of the April 24, 2018 doubleheader.
• Brooke Wila leads the team with a .476 batting average.
• The pitching staff boasts a 3.66 ERA.

Scouting Lourdes (4-10, 0-2 WHAC)

• The Gray Wolves finished the 2018 season with a 15-23 overall, 7-13 WHAC record.
• Marissa Kostick leads the team in hits (16), batting average (.410), and RBI (15).
• Kostick also leads the team in the circle with a 3.92 ERA in 30.1 innings of work.

Scouting Siena Heights (19-7, 4-0 WHAC)

• Siena Heights currently leads the WHAC with a .371 team batting average.
• SHU has outscored their opponents 226-105 over the first 26 games.
• The Saints swept the Golden Eagles last year, including an 17-inning marathon that ended with an 8-4 score.
• Ashley Helmink leads the team with a .482 batting average along with a WHAC-leading .976 slugging percentage.
• Racquel Ward paces the pitching staff with a 2.55 ERA.

History vs. This Week's Opponents
Cornerstone was swept by Aquinas and Lourdes in both 2017 and 2018. The Golden Eagles split the doubleheader with Siena Heights in 2017 before getting swept in 2018. 

Flashback to 2017 vs. Aquinas
Lexi Lieske hit a pair of two-run home runs and added a three-RBI triple for a career-high 7 RBI. Lieske is one of only three CU players since 2000 to record 7+ RBI in a single game (Cassie Longcore 8 RBI vs. Robert Morris 3/13/2004 & Heidi Warmelink 11 RBI vs. UM-Dearborn 5/1/2013). Lieske also scored four runs in that game, one of only two CU players since 2000 with a four-run game (Mindy Rader 4 at Concordia 4/29/2005).
