GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles make their return to postseason play as they clinched the sixth and final seed for the WHAC Tournament, earning themselves a trip to Livonia where they will play in Pod B with two seed Madonna and three seed Lawrence Tech. The tournament will begin with a game between Cornerstone and Lawrence Tech at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 2. The remainder of the double-elimination tournament will be decided based on the results of game one. Live video and stats for the event can be found at cugoldeneagles.com.
Tournament Outline:
Game 1: #6 Cornerstone vs. #3 Lawrence Tech – 10 a.m.
Game 2: #2 Madonna vs. Game 1 loser – 1 p.m.
Game 3: #2 Madonna vs. Game 1 winner – 4 p.m.
Day Two (If ALL teams have one loss)
Game 4: #6 Cornerstone vs. #3 Lawrence Tech
Game 5: #2 Madonna vs. Game 4 winner
Day Two (If one team is eliminated on day one)
Game 4: 2-0 Team vs. 1-1 Team

Cornerstone Baseball Quick Facts:
- The Golden Eagles have been hot of late, winning four of their last six games to clinch the sixth and final WHAC Tournament spot this season.
- The Golden Eagles got two huge wins vs. Northwestern Ohio at home last weekend, their first wins vs. the Racers since 2013. CU had lost 16 straight vs. UNOH but now is 4-18 all-time against them.

Jared Riley has come on as an important starter for CU in the latter part of the season, holding a 2-1 record and a 4.84 ERA in 35.1 innings pitched.

Aaron Krupansky just concluded a 22-game hitting streak, the longest of anyone on the Golden Eagles this season.
- Indiana Tech was named the WHAC regular season champions for the second year in a row to earn the top seed and host pod A. Pod A will have the Warriors along with the four seed Concordia and the five seed Northwestern Ohio. CU will play in pod B, hosted by Madonna. Madonna finished second in conference play with a 15-7 record and has the three seed Lawrence Tech and the six seed Cornerstone.
