GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone baseball program is excited to add yet another incoming freshman to the class of 2020-21 as Sam Flint will be joining the program from Columbus Christian School in Columbus, Indiana. Sam is a utility player who has played the middle infield as well as the outfield during his high school career. He was a three-year varsity starter and named First Team All-SRAC during his junior season. Sam did not have the opportunity to play his senior season due to COVID-19.
Sam is the son of Reeves and Victoria Flint and he will major in Business Sports Management during his time at Cornerstone.
Why CU?
"I was visiting a lot of schools within a decent range of where I live in Indiana, and Cornerstone really stood out to me. The campus was very nice and the opportunity to continue to play baseball was very appealing." – Sam Flint
